Chartwell – family home and garden of Sir Winston Churchill

Emmetts Gardens – a lovely hillside garden renowned for its glorious spring flowers and shrubs and autumn colours. Link to page of National Trust website

Quebec House – home of General James Wolfe, victor of the Battle of Quebec (1759)

Toys Hill – offers wonderful views and walking.

Squerryes Court - a beautiful 17th century manor house, the home of the Warde family since 1731. Surrounded by 20 acres of attractive and historic gardens which include a lake, restored parterres and an 18th century dovecote.
